Fights and spars are a fickle thing when it comes down to it. Here on Beautiful Creatures, we allow a variety of different kinds of spars, so be sure to read up on them as they tend to vary from site to site. These spars can be about a variety of different reasons, most are unclear.
KINDS OF SPARS
- Maims
- Dominance Spars
[li]Practice Spars[/li] - A harmless fight that generally littermates, two warriors or warrior pupils do to prove their worth or test out their abilities. Normally no serious injuries are afflicted to each opponent.
[li]Death Match[/li] - Like the name imply's this fight is to the death. Two characters fight with the intentions of killing each other. These fights are on the more serious spectrum and are not to be handled lightly. Harlequin or any other staff member must approve of this fight and you must give proof that you and your opponent have agreed to this fight in order for you to proceed.
[li]Rank Challenges[/li] - These fights are a common occurrence in the more rowdy Dynasties. These fights are aimed at gaining a higher rank from another. Rank challenges are also generally used to see if a specific animal deserve this specific rank or a higher rank in general. These kinds of spars do NOT have to be approved by a staff member, however, you must notify a member of the staff and notify the member who roleplays the character you are challenging. These fights generally don't have any maiming in mind, however, it is a possibility.
[li]Defending[/li] - Anyone can attempt to defend anyone in any given situation and anyone is allowed to defend themselves from an attacker. These fights are solely for trying to defend someone from another person or trying to defend yourself from your aggressor. Maiming can occur in these kinds of fights.
[li]Force-breeding[/li] - This kind of fight's sole purpose is to forcefully breed with any given gender. Any gender can force breed any gender. Maims generally do not occur in this kind of fight, however, it is a possibility.
[li]Self- defence[/li] - Anyone can try self defend themselves. This fight is focused solely on defending yourself rather than injuring your attacker. These fights generally happen because someone is either trying to force breed you, attack you, kill you, or take you as a hostage. (more commonly used for if you're a scout)
[li]Punishment[/li] - A fight a King/Queen or higher up ranked character uses to punish their subordinates. Maiming isn't the goal of this kind of fight, however, it is a possibility.
[li]Kidnapping[/li] - A fight that's sole purpose is to effectively kidnap their opponent. Generally, no harm comes to the victim, however, harm can occasionally happen especially when the victim is struggling and fighting back.
