Delwyn
[attr="class","dropfrumbodytxt"]PERSONALITY
charismatic, ambitious, egocentric, calculating, purposeful, manipulative
Delwyn's positively wonderful to be around, at least, that's his opinion. Then again, he exudes such natural charms that pretty much everyone else thinks that about him as well. It also helps perhaps that he's easy on the eyes, but pity the many who find themselves enamored. Delwyn's flirty and free-spirited to almost anyone, but it's wise not to get tied up in the allure. Himself and his ambitions are the only things he truly seems to care about, and it's worrisome the lengths to which he's willing to go to achieve them. Aside from charms, the boy's also got intelligence, which he often uses to his advantage. He judges others, and uses the flaws he finds to his advantage. However, calling him out on such things will only earn you a sweet, disparaging smile. He's egotistical to a point, and he believes quite strongly that he's in the right, no matter what he does. He's got a way about him, a confidence when needed, and a sweetness that's deceiving, his charm does well to hide his manipulative and arrogant nature. He's also interestingly enough, not overtly social when he doesn't need to be. Oh sure, someone who looks lonely will almost always catch his attention, but not at all for the right reasons. Delwyn preys on emotions, he's learned to use them to his advantage, and once someone's served their use they're cast away. This isn't to say he's entirely bad though, Delwyn may be on the selfish side, but he finds pride in the Fengari. He believes himself to be the most suitable to guard the only Dynasty that really deserves to be around. He's always felt entitled to things he doesn't really deserve, and his promotion to Guardian has only reaffirmed that belief.
APPEARANCE Shades of relic nature, chesnut glory, eclipsed by patched blackened pelt, and overall tones mixing between desert sand and slate. This wolf, though smaller than a grey or a timber species, is still rather large for his native bloodline, making up for a minor disadvantage. Sleek, yet powerful legs and an overall structure bound in considerable musculature. The lean and lithe male is well-built, but not to an excess, his muscular status meets an attractive and functional level, flowing naturally with his form and accentuating his attractive features. Gold-toned eyes, rimmed in kohl tones, and soft yet sleek fur coats his form, having a luster to every strand. He looks princely and prime, and if one looks closely, it's not hard to find a so-called hero's scars dancing through his pelt. A nicked ear decorates his left, and the most noticeable scar is likely healed claw marks on his right shoulder, near the dear withers. This handsome youth dons a narrow muzzle, the sweeter to charm, and slender limbs of a considerably lighter tone than the rest of his body. One might remark, that in the right light, the sleek male could be mistaken for a rather large coyote, but he bears few other similarities with the much smaller canid.
HISTORY Delwyn was born to two warriors, he had two siblings, and he was the middle child. At a young age, it became apparent that Delwyn was unusually quiet, and unusually focused, he excelled at many things, though he often lacked the drive to try. It wasn't until shortly after the untimely deaths of his siblings due to reasons unknown that a fierce aggression became visible in young Delwyn. His parents were nothing remarkable, but the young wolf was fiery and combat-ready. He was prone to scuffles with other pack members, but in spite of his high-strung attitude, no one could deny the youth's promise and talent. Shortly before he was 2 years old, he started to become an exceptional flirt, and his aggression seemed to disappear. He was still cold-hearted and brutal, yes, but he rarely showed that side. He rose quietly, a charming and astute individual known for his intelligence and battle prowess, and for being incredibly sweet. The ambition lurked under the surface, and during the great battle with Skotadi, many feline deaths could be linked to his jaws. His parents died during the battle as well, though, it never seemed to faze him. He watched, and he waited. He'd earned the respect and hearts of Fengari many times over, so while a few thought him too young and inexperienced for the rank of Guardian, those were the minority. His advancement was met with pleasure, as Delwyn had been the exceedingly popular choice after Llyr stepped down. Granted, the male seems to have gotten a tad too cozy with his new re-affirmed rank, and his hearty ambition is beginning to show once more.
