The time of the Gods has passed, or so it would seem. Those once feared, respected and worshiped by humanity are nothing more than legends whispered around campfires, bedtime stories, and blockbuster films.
Fifty Years ago, the cosmos shook and the Gods of Asgard and Olympus were cast out, scattered across the earth, separated from one another and from their homes. Their powers too were weakened and the immortals found their strength to be nothing but comparable to Demi-Gods. Unable to return home they were forced assimilate, scouring the earth to find each other and waiting for their chance to gain back their worth.
Their presence on earth has not gone entirely unnoticed. With their inherent needs to be worshiped and obeyed, many of the Gods have taken highly publicized positions. Your favorite politician? The hottest movie star? All right under your nose.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Interpol have been trying, unsuccessfully, to track them for decades. The government fights to keep their existence a secret, fearing that widespread belief will strengthen their power and the once powerful Gods will become a threat to National Security.
All the Gods want, is the strength to be able to return home.
It is known that while they were dispersed, two large groups have settled In New York City, disguised as humans. Many former residents of Olympus and Asgard have found their new home in Manhattan where their desire for fortune and fame can be fed, and their dwindling powers strengthened.
With the struggle to hang onto what strength they have left, a full on Pagan turf war has erupted.They fight for power and notoriety, feeding on the adoration of others before the humans can extinguish them from existence, for good.
