[attr="class","dropfrumbodytxt"]PERSONALITY
Big softy
Nianzu is a male who is very easy going most of the time. Nianzu is an overall happy fellow who makes an effort to get along with the members in his dynasty. He has a large heart in that he will feel both sympathy and empathy for others, he will always try to put others first unless for the sake of the dynasty, he cannot.
While he is a soft ruler; being compassionate and kind, he does have his limits and is not deemed a push over. Nianzu will trend lightly with some areas, giving light punishments if he must, but other aspects - religion, loyalty and trust, territory and upholding one's word, are things he values and see's to be important. Full punishment and excess could come to those to see to tear down what Nianzu views as important.
Easily offended
Nianzu is easily offended, sticking like honey to the traditional traits the dynasty is known for. Nianzu often misinterprets what others are saying, taking their word for being a lot harsher than it's true intention. Once offended, Nianzu can be a force to reckon with.
Holds grudges yet values ones' promise - will always uphold one's allegiance
Nianzu views one's word as law. He takes what one says very seriously, viewing it as a promise more so than simply words. If someone makes him a promise, Nianzu will expect that it happens. He has no tolerance for those who make such promise and then break it. He will always hold grudges close to his chest and ensure those who wronged him or those he cares about, receive no aid in their endeavors.
Religious
Nianzu is a religious male and will always prayer to the Gods before and after battle. He will speak to them in times of desperation and when times are going well. Nianzu believes that the Gods are still of importance to the lands for they created the world they know. Although not all share this view, he understands that and would never force his clan members to believe in such things, if they did not feel it like he. In saying that, he will value those who do believe slightly higher than those who do not. As he wishes for the dynasty to be ran with the value of the Gods in heart.
APPEARANCE Nianzu is a big and beefy structured bear with immense strength like most of his kind. Weighing around 130kgs (286lbs), he is not built for agility and speed, more hard hits and heights. Nianzu has long, wooly fur that's all white with black patches defining his species as a giant panda. He has big black circles around his eyes, with brown oculars which blend. Nianzu has big heavy paws with dark, rough grey paw pads which allow for him to climb with ease. He has a rounded body, natural for his kind with a lot of body weight backing any hits he makes. Nianzu's legs and arms are long and muscled. He has one small flaw with his otherwise tidy appearance and that is a large scar on neck, the fur surrounding it is ever so slightly parted. It appears as if it was once a nearly fatal wound that may have never really healed properly, possibly an infection..the scar itself has no effect on him aside from aesthetic purposes.
HISTORY Nianzu's bloodline is rich with Arkouda history. His parents, grandparents and other kin all held powerful ranks within the dynasty. Many of which being successful rulers over the lands for a number of years. Nianzu was born and raised to one day lead the Dynasty, to which has come to be true. His parents taught him of the battles and the heritage of Arkouda, including the wonderful story of his great, great kin...Felipe. Felipe was Nianzu's great grandfather who was an honored warrior who perished in a border dispute a very long time ago, before the great battle. Nianzu had a challenging upbringing, as did his younger sister. The two of them fought tooth and claw to earn their places; their parents demonstrated no mercy, wanting nothing but for them to be the best they possibly could be.
Nianzu's father was the first to die out of his two parents. His father became ill with something which the shaman struggled to cure. His memory seemed to be fading every day, various warriors and hunters, even his own kin seemed to be unrecognizable to the King. It was painful to watch. His death was not quick and painless. But slow and drawn out. Watching one fade and no longer be themselves was one of the hardest pains Nianzu had ever witnessed. The Queen was overcome with sadness, depression swept over her. However she remained strong, holding onto the Dynasty with a strong paw-grip. It was about a year later that she however died as well. Her death was more so due to old age and a terrible, terrible cough that came through that cold winter.
OTHER INFO The name was bestowed upon him in memory of his great-kin who shared the same name. The name itself is Chinese for "thinking of ancestors"
