[attr="class","dropfrumbodytxt"]PERSONALITY
Captivating, Clever, Persuasive, Resourceful - Positive
This red fox is definitely one who can hold anyone's attention. He absolutely loves to tell stories, whether the stories are true or not is completely up to the listener to decide. When Catalyx starts to tell a story, other animals can't help but to listen because he is so captivating with his words. As a result, Catalyx has no issues with being persuasive enough to get what he wants or being able to talk himself out of trouble. He uses this not only for himself but for others as well. He's very clever and resourceful in finding out information.
Flirtatious, Playful, Social, Talkative - Neutral
It is only natural for a born storyteller to never stop talking. Beings he is much younger than the typical elderly storytellers, some find him annoying and hard to ignore. Catalyx will talk to anyone who will listen and he absolutely loves being social. He's also a natural flirt and known to be playful when he's not spinning tales.
Calculating, Crude, Opportunistic, Reactive - Negative
Catalyx is a fox after all and it's not an uncommon event for the fox to do everything he can to seize an opportunity. His overactive mouth tends to get him in trouble sometimes with the ladies because he can get crude if he's not careful. Catalyx also has a nasty habit for being reactive to others. He'll get into trouble just as easily as he can get out of it. He's very calculating, using this ability to search for his best possible option or chance to help himself survive or have a better life.
APPEARANCE
Catalyx is a slightly smaller than average male red fox. He's always been on the skinnier side of things as well. Most of his fur is a few shades of bright orange that is slightly lighter than the rest of his species. All four of his paws are tufted and black up to half of his legs. Catalyx also has the typical black ears with the fur on the inside being white. The fur that makes up his mask is the same orange and white with the white covering the lower part of his muzzle and chest, going into his belly. Unlike other red foxes, Catalyx's bushy tail is a mixture of oranges, brown's, and blacks until the signature white tip.
HISTORY
Catalyx doesn't know much about his parents or their background at all. His sister, Chara, and himself never met their father. Callie, their mother, raised them herself. She would tell stories of how brave their father was in protecting them from evil warriors who wished their family harm.
As the two fox cubs grew to their second year, Callie got sick. Their mother never got better and eventually died a few months later. Knowing just enough to get by, the two young foxes barely scraped by. Soon after their third year, Chara and Catalyx stumbled upon a large area of land that was clearly taken by others.
They were trying to decide if they should introduce themselves or flee like their mother had taught them when Chara got sick with the same thing that had killed their mother. Panicked, Catalyx refused to lose his sister so he went to the canine group and asked for their help. Their Queen agreed immediately and took them both in. Chara was taken to one of their shamans and was started on some kind of treatment. Catalyx was treated to a small feast because the two siblings were nearly starved and as he got more comfortable, he started telling a story about his parents. That was when things took a weird turn for Catalyx. The Fengari believed his story and for some reason, apparently knew more than he did because the next thing he knew, their Queen ordered her warriors to make him and his sister prisoners. With his quick thinking, Catalyx smooth talked just enough for the Queen to allow Chara to continue getting treatment. But both are currently being guarded and their fate decided by total strangers in a new land that their mother had told them to flee from.

(Unbeknownst to the two young foxes, Callie grew up in Fengari and chose to become a hunter. While she was very young, a rogue fox caught her attention. Damon was sly and cunning, using Callie's affections to eat better and have a better life. When Callie asked if he could join Fengari, Queen Kotys saw Damon for what he really was and refused to accept Damon into their ranks. She also gently yet firmly told Callie to stop seeing him and that if she continued there would be consequences. Both foxes ignored the Queen and Callie got sneakier and more secretive. Her forbidden love was starting to effect the Fengari negatively.
Soon Callie became pregnant and Damon grew tired of watching others have a better life that was unavailable to him because of a 'Queen's' decision. The two were finally caught because Kotys had had enough and had been sending warriors to try and look for the two foxes. When they were caught, an argument ensued where both foxes committed treason with their words. The argument escalated into a fierce fight that ended in Damon killing one of the Fengari warriors and both foxes wounding several others. As the fight dies down, one of the Fengari warriors kills Damon after seeing his/her fallen comrade. Callie is taken immediately to Queen Kotys and found guilty of multiple charges. The fox is then banished from Fengari.
When the vixen gave birth to two healthy cubs, Callie was consumed with bitterness and hatred for all of the dynasties. She taught her cubs to fear the dynasties hoping that they never had to go through the pain that she had by never telling them the truth.)
