[attr="class","dropfrumbodytxt"]PERSONALITY
(+) Confident, reliable, proud (:) Formal, fearless, adventurous (-) cold to strangers, strong-willed, well-meaning
Rhea has always been an incredibly confident individual. From the very beginning she always knew who she was and what she wanted out of life. She holds duty and honor to the highest regard and is proud to serve her dynasty in anyway she can. Rhea is a reliable bear who takes promises seriously and holds secrets close to her heart. She is fairly religious, although not to the extent of some in her clan and can be very formal with others who are higher in rank than herself.
When thinking of Rhea a fearless adventurer comes to mind, her mindset always looking forward towards the future with little regret for past decisions or mistakes. She does not like to dwell on the philosophical and instead believes actions speak far louder than words; making her a very strong-willed individual. She prefers to keep her contact with others outside her clan low and is rather callous to those who look down or judge her dynasty. Through all her ups and downs, Rhea is a well-meaning individual who wants to do right by herself and her dynasty.
APPEARANCE Rhea is a mountain of a bear. She stands tall and proud, her head constantly raised and brown eyes attentive. With thick brown fur and a bulky body it takes some extremely fierce weather to make Rhea cold, though her pelt is the cause of some discomfort during the warmer seasons. She has large capable paws, each complete with freshly sharpened claws in case a need arises and she needs to use them. Her long snout ends with an incredibly sensitive black nose and is her most defining feature. While her eyesight is average and her hearing equally so, Rhea is an amazing tracker; perhaps even one of the best in her clan. Like every brown bear she has short stubby ears and a short stubby tail. Roughly a year ago Rhea suffered heavy damage from a border skirmish and as a result has deep scarring along her back right leg. Rhea made a full recover however when she is traveling for long periods of time or hasn't given herself any time to rest she will begin to limp due to joint pain.
HISTORY Rhea has always been confident since birth. Born an only child she was raised among others her age but she never really clicked with any of them. Her family held a long line of mighty warriors and at a very young age she promptly decided she would follow in her lineage's footsteps. This left little time for fun or games but she never really minded that much. One of the happiest moments of her life was when she became a pupil. No longer was life about luxury; she'd finally get the chance to spend her time on more important things like learning how to hunt or more specifically how to fight. She was a quick learner in her early years; always putting her duties first before her personal life as so many before her had. Her parents constantly worried over their only daughter, saying she should choose a less taxing or brutal rank to aim for. They'd seen their fair share of battle in their own lifetimes and wanted something different for their daughter. But the honor and the glory of becoming a defender was more important to Rhea than the risk of losing her very life. So she ignored her mothers fretting and her fathers pressuring and continued with her training; eventually becoming a full fledged warrior; to her parents chagrin.
After some time as a warrior it was becoming clear Rhea had no interest in taking a mate. Those around Rhea would titter at her behavior, saying it was time for her to settle down and pick a mate but hearing those criticisms only spurred her passion on more. In her eyes she had the rest of her life to find love and she was not about to settle for a partner 'just because.' If she was going to be with someone it was going to be for true love; and true love meant her mate would love her for who she was; a warrior. Eventually the teasing subsided, her parents the only ones determined to push Rhea into the life they wanted for her.
Roughly a year ago a border skirmish broke out and Rhea was called into the fray. She fought passionately for her dynasty but a tricky wolf managed to jump onto her back and leave deep gashes along her back right hip and leg. Lucky for Rhea another warrior pulled the beast from her back and she was free to chase the nasty thing off of her land with it's tails tucked between its legs. Her healing process was a slow one and for Rhea it was agonizing. She had to remain within the confines of camp for two full months before being aloud back out into the beautiful territory of the Arkouda land. Though unafraid to jump back into her warrior duties a question continues to rattle around in her mind...
Were her parents right?
OTHER INFO
Family:
● Mother - NPC (at this time)
● Father - NPC (at this time)
Fun Facts:
● Rhea isn't a big fan of the dark. Her already average sight (for a bear) becomes even worse in the dark and not being able to see her surroundings give her a lot of anxiety.
● She's secretly a hopeless romantic. When she was younger she wasn't interested in love, but now as she ages she finds herself looking for a partner in life.
● Rhea loves berries. If she happens across a full berry bush she won't hesitate to chow down until there's none left or her stomach feels its about to explode... whichever comes first.
