Kotys
[attr="class","dropfrumbodytxt"]PERSONALITY Kotys is a benevolent she-wolf with an overall allocentric demeanor. She is stoic, both mentally and physically. She often presents herself with indifference when unsure of something, but will form strong opinions beneath the shell of her mind. It's how her brain works: silently. She will express her thoughts when she feels they will benefit those around her. Otherwise, she is quiet reserved, not much for small talk or banter. If one would approach attempting to converse she would not shoot them down, of course. She carries a liberal view, not tolerating close minded individuals. Kotys also does not tolerate disrespect nor disloyalty, and becomes snarky towards those who are.
She, no matter whose presents she's in, will carry herself with the dignity she prides in. Presentation is everything to her, which is carried onto her perspective on ranks as well. Kotys believes that ranks hold a clan together, and are vital to a pack's survival.
Her faults do lie in her silver tongue. Kotys is filled with witty remarks, and her vulgar language do not help. If one were to anger the wolf, she would become violent in her actions or rash. If someone where to make a sarcastic comment the small she-wolf would snap one right back. She is quick minded, which also come with its downfalls. She tends to make decisions based on an impulse, especially in the heat of a battle. If she has time to think, she will keep a level head, however.
For the most part, Kotys is a she-wolf reticent in giving out her otherwise indifferent feelings, and is selective about who she opens up to. She always tries to think for the best of the group rather than for herself.
APPEARANCE Kotys, although not exhibiting a muscle-bound exterior, does hold a slender, lithe build. She stands at a mere 2'6" and weighs approximately 100 pounds. Her stature, although short, provides plenty of advantages. Kotys is extremely quick, faster than most. Since there is not much to carry, the female's small legs can whisk her across the terrain with ease. She is quick in battle, too, and although her strength factor is lacking, she can easily move around to her opponents backsides where they are weak.
Her thin coat, too, provides its hindrance to her, but it's disadvantage is also it's most useful attribute. It makes her appear small, no intimidation element is the mix. It makes her look as if she is an easy target. But it works as a way deceive enemies. With strategical knowledge, and quick thinking mind, Kotys doesn't need strength as her superior trait to win.
Her pelt is a blend of colors. The main palette consists of browns, greys, and whites, which result in a light colored canine. A narrow skulls is the base for sharply pointed ears, and trails down to meet a long, thin muzzle and gaping maw. Her eyes are a vibrant orange and yellow mix, resulting in luminous orbs.
HISTORY Kotys started life with a bright outlook. Heir to the the Queen and King of the dynasty, she and her siblings were spolied. Members adored them, their parents took great pride in them. Growing up, Kotys escalated in all of her classes. She brilliant fighter, her mind seemly pieced together battle tactics with ease. She protected her home with an astounding fierceness. Kotys, from the start, was labeled he future Queen of the dynasty.
At the mere age of one Kotys' mother fell ill. Rushed to the Shaman, she stayed days and nights with no signs of progression. And just like that, more and more canines were succumbed to the disease, including her pups. Members of the Fengari were dying left and right, the only significant members of the clan left being Kotys and her father.
After that, the she-wolf found all of her hope in him, ironically his name too. Elpidius found all hope in his daughter, in turn. The two grew closer than ever, and after the sickness left the land, the two began to work on restoring the dynasty to its former glory.
Because of his work and time among the Fengari, Elpidius was held highly within the dynasty. Members practically worshipped him. Apparently, the title of King and loved by many came with a costly risk. At the age of two, Elpidius was murdered by a she-cat named Trissket.
The pack retreated, though fumed with anger for the cat and the dynasty. They were still too weak to counter, just seeing through the devastating Kotys herself was devasted, finding her own resurrection in the thought of getting revenge on the murderous cat. Trissket's named was cursed throughout the Fengari land, her only label "Hope Killer".
His blood spilled upon the desert, Kotys was titled Queen of the dynasty. She knows what's best for the clan, but worries that she won't be able to see though her hatred for the Skotadi, even years later.
