[attr="class","dropfrumbodytxt"]PERSONALITY
Dignified, Forgiving, and Humble -- Positive
Galen is well known by all of Eleos and by some in the other dynasties as well. His humble nature usually wins over even the stubborn. His voice is deep and soothing, which comes in handy when settling disagreements. Everything that Galen does is well thought out and executed with great dignity. He never looks down on others and respects all (even wolves), which is further extended into Galen having a forgiving and patient nature.
Calm, Moralistic, and Proud -- Neutral
He's the type that approaches every situation with a natural authoritative calmness. Galen has a very strong sense of right and wrong that he keeps to very strictly. Though he is forgiving, Galen also doesn't tolerate rule breaking. He has worked very hard to achieve his goals and though he may be humble in nature, Galen also knows that there is nothing wrong with being proud of one's accomplishments as long as that pride doesn't consume him and make him arrogant.
Deliberate, Demanding, Obsessive -- Negative
The buck doesn't make serious decisions without thinking them through slowly. Unless someone's life is in danger and it requires immediate action, Galen knows the value in using words to try and avoid bloodshed. He can be quite obsessive though and has certain little quirks and ways of doing things that could upset him for much longer than necessary if whatever it is is disrupted. He can also be quite demanding if the situation calls and he won't back down from a fight if Galen feels it is necessary or for the good of Eleos.
APPEARANCE
Galen is slightly bigger than the average red deer with a full build. He has a thick neck with an elegant head. His legs are long and strong. Galen's antlers are very elegant with fourteen tines that curve upward. His pelt is a deep red color in the sun while appearing to be a dull brown in the shadows. Galen's eyes are dark brown in color and are large that show his intelligence well.
HISTORY
The dynasty of Eleos has always had multiple herds of healthy species of deer. With their antlers and swift agility, bucks are usually sought out for becoming warriors for the protection of Eleos. Galen's lineage is one of honor and dignity with most of the bucks loyally serving. Does are equally respected as foragers and nannies. Galen was born to a high ranking warrior father and a well loved nanny mother. He has an older sister and a younger brother. Galen's childhood was filled with stories of wonder, excitement, and honor. Galen wanted nothing more than to be the best warrior for Eleos that he could be.
As the red buck got older, around his second year, his father was killed by a couple wolves from the Fengari dynasty in the middle of winter. His little brother had just been born and their mother was distraught. Galen remembers very clearly, waking up in the middle of the night soon after to find that her mother was being visited by the Queen and Duchess themselves to see if there was anything they could do to help his mother in their time of grief. From that night on, Galen vowed to not only be the best warrior he could be, but to also be as good of an animal as he could be, showing compassion and understanding to others. He was one of the best pupils of the Eleos around his age.
The time came for the red deer to join the ranks of warriors and Galen proved to be one of the best in both character and skill in battle. Galen quickly rose within the ranks of the Eleos warriors. When he was four, Galen received his first battle scar on his right front leg from the claws of a Skotadi feline. As he was healing, he was put on light duty and met a doe that struck his fancy. Freya was just as beautiful as she was firery. The two fell in love over the course of a year.
When Galen was five, his first fawn was born and she was every bit of a beauty as her mother. Galen also received another promotion and started teaching pupils in the ways of the warriors. Over the next few years, Galen has watched as his dynasty has grown as well as lost some members. He has become well known and very well liked by all in Eleos to the point where he even has some friends in the other dynasties. Though his loyalties will always be absolute and unshaking.
A few months ago, he was just as shocked as the rest of Eleos when the Queen renounced her title and chose her female Guardian to be the her replacement as Queen. Galen knows Seliah well. At first he had trouble with the fact that their Queen didn't follow the proper order of having the Duke and Duchess step up but after a couple days, Galen realized that their former Queen couldn't have picked a better replacement.
Galen knew without a doubt that Seliah would make a great Queen. His loyalty to the Eleos as well as his loyalty to the Royals themselves is what caused Seliah to approach the red deer as a potential Guardian for her. Deeply humbled, Galen talked it over with Freya and the buck decided to accept his Queen's offer.
