For the most part it just sort of exists.
Lacking purpose, it generally goes about its life as an aimless itinerant.
It doesn't put too much thought into things, simply letting its body run on its own.
It weaves in and out of situations, preferring to remain on its own, but lacking the need to completely turn away from others.
It doesn't care one way or the other about where it is or with whom it is sharing company; however, it doesn't like taking orders, and won't put up with anyone trying to control it.
Not altogether timid, but not a fighter either, although it is capable of perceiving potential threats, it lacks the mindset to actively avoid them, resulting in a preference to flee from danger as it occurs, lashing out only when cornered with no other way out.
APPEARANCE Tepuy is a lean, tall pronghorn, built for agility, endurance, and speed.
It has a downy coat of rumpled fur.
It has two horns typical of its species, slender black bones with a pronged tip.
The hairs along its nape and around its tail are double the length of the rest on its body.
Its base coat color is a deep, rusty reddish brown, darkest on the sides while gradually fading towards the toes.
Its belly is off-white mottled light grayish brown, as are its chest, haunches, lower jaw, sides, tail, and throat; while the majority of this tint is solid, the lightness on its throat is broken-up in a striped pattern, the ends of some stripes reaching nearly to the nape of its neck.
Its cheeks and the hairs of its nape are a slightly darker red.
Its ears are a slightly lighter brown.
Its eyes are a mix of muddy and sandy browns.
Its face, hooves, horns, and nose are masked in a charcoal black to graphite gray gradient.
Its skin and the inside of its mouth, including its tongue, are of the same blackish gray as its horns.
Its voice is coarse, deep, and hoarse.
